We are often asked about venues, here’s a list of some of our favourites. There are many more available these are just a few that we’ve had great experiences with.
Herrison Hall - Charlton Down, is it weird to have a favourite hall? I don’t care this is mine, it’s stunning. If you‘d like to have a fairytale ball this is the place. It also has its own car park.
Upwey and Broadwey Memorial Hall
I think this is where we have been to the most parties, it is a large reasonably priced hall with a car park. I believe there is a kitchen available and you only pay for the rooms you need. There is a kitchen and carpark, only con is we have heard that it can be difficult to get in contact with them.
The Palm House
They have different packages available to suit your needs and can take care of food too so you just need to sit back and enjoy! Theres a play area too.
For slightly older children how about the fun factory? You can book out the whole place and use their soft play!
- similar soft play area parties can be held at the new vic and the Lodmoor too!
Preston Village Hall
I really like the size of this hall, it’s a bit smaller than many but ideal if you aren’t having a bouncy castle. It has a carpark, kitchen and second smaller room which can be useful as a quieter area or for smaller children.
Portland YMCA
This venue has been popular this year, whenever we visit the staff are always very friendly. There is a large party room and kitchen, they also have a bouncy castle available. They have their own car park.
Other venues with their own bouncy castles are:
Redlands - they have football and cars too! Food area is upstairs.
Budmouth sports hall - food area is in reception.
Southill Community Centre - Seashells soft play have a deal you can book here with the hall and bouncy castles included.
There are many other venues available, these are just some that we have experienced and can recommend.
