How to have a great birthday in lockdown

These are scary and confusing times but even more so for children, they‘re not able to see their friends and play outside and now their birthday parties are cancelled. We think it’s important for families to keep life as ‘normal’ as possible during this lockdown. And we know it’s essential to celebrate birthday, it gives children something to look forward to and get excited about.

So how can we still make the day special? Well we’ve been working on our virtual services, we can send a pre-recorded video message that you can show to your little one, we have two options for these: the first is a short message wishing the child a happy birthday and the second option includes a storytime. You will have these videos for ever and be able to re-watch them when ever you want!

Our second option is to have a virtual party. Our character will video chat with your child, we have multiple options for this including story time, games, craft. You can even have your child’s friends join the video chat and be a part of the party! During this time we can have all the children sing happy birthday to your child while you bring out the cake and they get to blow out their candles. We love that technology makes it possible to party even while we are apart!

All of the virtual party options can be done with just your child or with their friends too! And if you book either option before April 1st it’s half price!

We hope you are all staying safe and well!
